The trek to Everest Base Camp is considered to be one of the most challenging endeavors. It is equally rewarding, as it offers mesmerizing views of several gigantic peaks such as Cho Oyu (8153m), Lhotse (8511m), Nuptse (7879m), Makalu (8470m), Ama Dablam (6856m) and many more unidentified peaks are located in the Khumbu region. It is once in a lifetime experience to follow the footsteps of some legendary mountaineers, explore the tradition and lifestyle of Sherpas and surrender to the beauty of nature.
Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 m)
- Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) and trek to Phakding (2610 m)
- Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m)
- Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Namche (3440 m)
- Day 5: Trek from Namche Bazar to Tengboche (3860 m)
- Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4410 m)
- Day 7: Acclimatization Day at Dingboche (4410 m)
- Day 8: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4910 m)
- Day 9: Trek to Gorakshep (5140 m) to Everest Base Camp (5364 m) & back to Gorakshep (5140 m)
- Day 10: Hike up to Kalapatthar (5644m) and trek down to Pheriche
- Day 11: Trek down to Namche bazar (3440 m)
- Day 12: Trek from Namche (3440 m) to Lukla (2840m)
- Day 13: Take a flight from Lukla (2840m) to Kathmandu
- Day 14: Fly back with memories and accomplishment
