Sondai is a hill fort, located near Karjat in Raigad District of Maharashtra, India. The Sondai fort was built so that it could act as a watchtower for surveillance of nearby areas. It gets its name because of the presence of the temple of Goddess Sondai Devi, at the top of the mountain. 

From the summit of the Sondai Fort, one can get a clear and beautiful views of Morbe Dam, Prabalgad, Irshalgad, Rajmachi and Matheran mountain range. The fort has two water cisterns at the top and steps carved out of rocks. The Sondai fort trek passes through jungle, rock patches, multiple iron ladders and open fields.
